PFI Planning Consortium

We had the privilege of guiding and implementing the redesign of PFI Planungsgemeinschaft’s new office location in Hanover. The historic building, dating from the 1920s and designated a historic landmark, features many characteristics typical of older structures, including high ceilings, historic hardwood floors, and slanted walls. At the same time, the goal was to create a work environment that supports modern collaboration and flexible work styles.

The foundation for this was laid during a joint workshop with Marie from the design consultancy Prinzträger. Building on this, we developed a spatial concept featuring a mix of fixed and flexible workstations, meeting areas, and spaces for spontaneous interaction. The carefully considered color scheme and lighting highlight the strengths of the existing structure while creating a modern work environment.

The result is an office that bridges the past and the present and offers employees space for focused work, interaction, and collaboration.
